How to replace the fuel temperature sensor - 2005 Kia Sedona

Answers :

Fuel temperature sensors are used on return-less fuel systems and are \012usually mounted on the fuel rail, although on some vehicles \012 it is integrated into the fuel pump. Those mounted on the fuel rail are\012 easily replaceable but those integrated into the fuel pump requires \012replacement of the entire fuel pump. If you are getting a diagnostic \012trouble code between P0180 and P0189 then you have a fuel temperature \012sensor problem which, if it is integrated into the fuel pump it will require replacement of the \012entire fuel pump. On return-less fuel systems the fuel temperature sensor\012 sends fuel density data to the PCM and then with that and data from the\012 fuel rail pressure sensor the PCM commands the fuel pump driver module to adjust voltage to the fuel pump sufficient to achieve the proper fuel pressure.
