Having problems with your 2005 Jeep Liberty ?

2003 3.7 Liberty check engine light for crank sensor

\015 Replaced crank sensor w/2 remans, then a new one from Chysler, still comes back on. Replaced pcm. programed w/ vin # mileage 80000 and all updates. It took code off but came back on after warm up. Replaced all spark plugs. Key was checked for code, ok. Turned off remote start add on. Here is the skinny, Jeep will die during idle, after light on or at normal driving speed. Engine will speed up and down w/ rpm of about 2000 then die. It may start back up or may not. Sometime when it dies the tack will jump up and down if key is still on and engine is dead. It may start but run rough,or has had light backfire. It seems to start better after cool down but not always. Sometimes you can drive a couple of miles, run great, then die. This vehicle been checked by a certified mechanic, local chysler dealer and two very good local mechanics. This is my daughters car, her only car. Me I feel this jeep has a mind of it own or is possessed by a spirit unknown to mankind. Please help. It sounds like its vapor locking try losing the fuel cap if it runs fine then replace the cap or take it off and drill 1/16 hole in it
Check all engine seals first.
