\015 My Auto Dim with Home link rear view mirror that\342\200\231s attached to the swivel ball joint popped out of the swivel hole with the electrical wire still attached to both the mirror and the mount attached to the windshield and I can't get it to pop back in. Need to replace the lower ball joints in my 2002 Dodge Durango SXT. Receiving conflicting advise. Some say that I have to replace the whole control arm with new ball joint. Others say that I can press the old ones out of the control arm and press new ball joints with grease fittings up into it... the existing ball joints are factory and do not have grease fittings. I can't be sure, but it looks like the top of control arm that houses the ball joint is solid cast. It doesn't appear to be a "hole"

My Tahoe has some play in the steering. I took it into an independent garage and was told the pitman and idler arms needed replacing. The arm that raises and lowers the window has a track at the bottom of the window it slides in. There is a ball joint that connects the arm and the piece that slides in the track. The passwenger side view mmirror is shattered on my 95 Oddysey. I purchased a factory replacement. The mechanism works fine and I removed the broken glass from the plastic plate that holds the mirror. My problem is that I cannot figure out how to remove the backing and apply the new mirror,which is attached to new plastic backing. How does one attach the new assembly? There is no way to fasten the screw into the pivot joint that moves the mirror, through the glass.

Whenever my car hits the rough road its starts making a sound. In a smooth road it runs like a new car, no sound at all. I am positive that the sound is coming from the bottom part of the steering.
