88 Jeep Cherokee, left turn signals don't work. Right signals flash as they should. Emergency flashers work as well. When the left turn signal is activated, the dash arrow lights up, the front bulb lights up and the rear bulb lights up but the flasher doesn't click. The flasher was replaced to rule it out and because it is easy, the left rear turn signal bulb was replaced and the front bulb was checked. It seems to me then next item to replace would be the turn signal switch. Any thoughts?

Ok Mr & Ms's Experts, try this one. I have a 1990 Jeep Cherokee Limited, I6 4.0L and I have problems with my right turn signal. This I know... 1) The bulbs are good. 2) Left flashers work front and rear. 3) I can manually make the right flashers work (both) by moving the signal stick up and down when I turn - when the running lights are off. 4) When the running lights are on, this does not work. Agree with the ground fault. Look for one of the TS lamps to be slightly dimmer than the ones on the other side. This would indicate that it is finding its ground through the parking lamp filament. From there you will have to use meters to trace t ... 1990 Jeep Cherokee Limited

I have a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I traded in on the c4c deal. I have not yet taken delivery (they are waiting for the gov't $) and my Jeep died a couple of nights ago, it was running, I stopped, parked, ran into a store, came out to restart, it sputtered and choked then died.
