I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and the transmission doesn't work first thing in the morning. Once you have driven approximately 1 block, stop put it in park, turn the engine off and then everything works great from that point on..but first lthing in the morning it will not shift. The transmission is a 45 RFE and it doesn't ever slip or act like something is going wrong. I had it check by a local person and he said that the fault code is a P1781 wich is a pressure switch.
