Having problems with your 2004 Honda Civic ?

I have a civic 2005 . The car quits and then will start right back up. the engine light is on and battery light also. put 2 new rebuilt alts on and no change. replaced coolant temp sensor and the ignition switch and still the same can you please HELP????

When does the car quit? Is it overheating at the time or anything abnormal? Have you gotten the trouble codes read. Any auto parts store will do it, some will do it cheaper or free so call around if you haven't had that done yet and we can see what the engine warning light means. More details on this, why did you replace what you already replaced? Notice anything else when it shuts off (idling high, driving a certain speed, shaking, loss of power on all electronics, etc?)\015\012
