Answers :

Have you replace the crank sensor? or cranshaft sensor?
\015\012if not do it, but before you do that make sure to have the truck inspect for a posible aftermarket alarm installed if it does have it remove and drive it for a few days,

What are the trouble codes? Recently had 0171 and 0174 codes. Engine coughed (or sneezed) upon a start one morning producing this problem resulting in very rough idle and stalling within 2 min of idling. Problem was vacuum hose blown off fuel regulator which is near impossible to reach without removing intake maniforld since the regulator is located between engine and firewall on 5.4l.
