Having problems with your 2004 Ford Explorer ?

2004 Ford Explorer ABS, Service Engine Soon lights stay on and the 4x4 light flashes. Why?

\015 My 2004 Ford Explorer service engine soon light and the abs light stay on. Also the 4x4 light flashes. I just got an engine put in. This issue with has been going on for years. But in the mean time, I've ignored it. Now I'm getting fed up with it. I don't want to take it to the dealership and pay an arm, leg, and foot to resolve a simple issue. Is this a sensor issue or something else? I do need to break pads and shocks, but would that cause the lights to stay on. How do I resolve this issue?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 20-11-2017
