Check alternator out put.should not exceed 15 volts or more. with engine running alternator out put should be 13.5 to 14.5 volts.if your alternator volts over 15 volts alternator has a faulty voltage regulator.
Hi, what voltage is the alternator putting out? Put a voltmeter across the battery - it should be reading between 13.8 to 14.4volts. Any more than this and the regulator unit on the alternator is likely to be faulty. Normally a cheap fix
