Having problems with your 2004 Chrysler Pacifica ?

The alternator output was high.the battery was very weak. Replaced battery and 3 monts later the same problem again. could it be the regulator? where is it located?

Many regulators are inside the alternators. Have the alternator checked. If its kicking out more than 14-15V it will fry your battery. Also, diodes can go bad in alternators. This means that they can put out AC instead of DC. Batteries do not like this and will fail as a result.
