Having problems with your 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer ?

My 2004 Trailblazer fan won't run on setting one

\015 My 2004 Trailblazer fan won't run on setting 1 but will on 2-5. Talked with my dad he said had same problem and sounds like the resistor going bad is this corrct and how hard is it to fix? \015\012\015\012Another problem is every time I put gas in the trailblazer it has a hard time starting, will stall out at least one time before starting up. This only happens after I put in gas. after that it will start right up without any problems. I just had the fuel filter chnged and even used gas treatment and it still happens. Any suggestions I thought maybe the gas cap is going bad.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 24-04-2017

Answers :

Fan problem is the blower resistor module. Very easy to fix ,located right next to the fan under the dash behind the glove box.It has screws that hold it inside the air duct. just remove, unplug from blower motor and replace. A new one costs about 25$.
