I own a 2000 Chevrolet Impala. Recently the "highbeam out" indicator light illuminated on the dash message center. Upon inspection the driver side high beam bulb was out and later found that it was burnt out (filament broken). I purchased and replaced the bulb with a brand new one and the high beam on that side still does not work. I have checked every single fuse on both ends of the dash and both under hood fuse boxes.. any ideas?

I have a 2003 Chevy Impala 3.4 and I recently got a "highbeam out" message in the message center. I checked the lights and both highbeams are on with the lowbeams. The are stuck on and will not go out. Any suggestions for me to fix this problem? Than ... 2000 Chevrolet Impala

My 2000 chevy impala has been overheating for 2 years now. I have tried everthing. First i had a raditior flush even though there is a sticker saying no maintainece is required for 100,000 miles well it was only 87,000. Then i replaced the thermostat, temp sensor, upper and lower hoses, water pump, radiatior x2, radiaitior cap, also had the system flushed again only to have it overheat STILL!

Just for the heck of it, check and see if the electric cooling fan/fans are working/ coming on when it should, if not, the radiator isn't getting cooled down like it should. \015\012You stated you replaced the temp sensor, try replacing the tem ... 2000 Chevrolet Impala

Overheating I just changed a hose that was broken after the van overheated. Theres no more leak, but its still overheating. It can keep at a normal temperature (center line on the gauge) for about ten minutes and starts to overheat again. What should I check for now?

If you haven't flushed your radiator, i would recommend this asap. i would also inspect the water pump and thermostat as well. replace both components if found to be faulty. ... 1993 Volkswagen Eurovan

2002 Chevrolet Impala with 3.8 L V6: Car throws code P106. We have replaced the sensor over the PCV valve and I have meticulously gone over every hose that connects to the intake manifold. We replaced several O-rings that go into the manifold and retorqued the manifold properly. I also cleaned the PCV valve and replace the O-Ring that seats it. Still throws the code. Also runs rough on damp days for a few minutes or when it is cold. Otherwise engine sounds and runs great.

You should make sure there is no air in the cooling system. With the engine COLD open the bleeder screw, take the cooling cap off, make sure it is full, put your mouth on the neck and blow until a clear stream of antifreeze comes out the bleeder. T ... 1995 BMW 5 Series
