I don't understand how this can be because I have not had a collison with my car. They told me to go to the dealer and I don't like to go to the dealer because I think they especially take advantage of females. The codes might just need reset, I have had from time to time air bag codes that are soft codes. Soft codes come and go and when you reset the computer they don't come back, kindof like a glitch in the system, Hard codes keep coming back everytime you have reset the computer. so this is what i would say, reset the computer a few times to make sure you have a hard code. then I would take it to the dealer and tell them you want just the air bag system checked most likly its a sensor under the front end that has gone bad and its sending a faulse signal to the computer.
