Having problems with your 2003 Nissan Altima ?

Want to know if 2003 altima 2.5 s has turn in calipers or or squeeze in ones like most fronts. Also I cannot completely remove caliper because there is like a stabilizer bar in the way of the lower 14 mm bolt so you cannot pull bolt all the way out. I don't think that will give me problems will it? Also on drivers side do I have to mess with parking brake cables or anything, haven't looked at drivers side yet.

Below are pictures from my factory service manual and it looks like you don't remove the caliper anyway per the instructions. It does say as you will read that you just "push" in the piston so evedently it's not the "screw" type. Also in the last picture I gave you a graphic as far as adjusting the parking brake as well. if you need anything else I do have the factory manual that I use here for my business so feel free to email me at [email protected] with any questions you may have. Please be detailed so i send you the correct stuff if you need anything and no, there is no charge cause I get that question all the time when I offer anything. Anyhow, I hope this helps and good luck.
