Having problems with your 2003 Lexus GS ?

I don't know should i get my Lexus GS300 front brake pad changed when the maintainance service said there were only 4 out of 11. I am not an enginneer but the car only drove for 17000 km but the rear brake pad only wore about 2 out of 10. How do I know why the front brake pad worn so fast than rear one

Well thats a good question but the answer is so simple .
\015\012When you apply the brakes the front of the car dips down and the faster you go the harder you have to brake, the more it digs in and the full weight is also in the front (ie engine assy) so it does three times the work, and the rears only brake softly so as you dont skid and to hold the car straight at normal braking in a straight line..SO thats why they last for 3 times of the fronts.
\015\012But if you get the front brakes done then also make sure thay mechine the front rotors (Dont just have new pads) and then your brakes will last a long time without any problems. But you dont need the fronts done till theyget down to the wear pad.(you will know).
\015\012Have a good day Ron
Check that your brake cylinder is not sticking after driving feel your wheel nuts if hot that could be your problem
