Rear Suspension In September 2007 , I bought a brand new Ford Focus 4door hatch. Ever since the 1st day the car had creeks and rattles. I took it back and they told me its because the car was new and I should wait for things to settle. Since then I have been back to two different Ford dealers, and neither can find the cause. The suspension still creeks and rattles and is very hard. (Feels like there are no shocks). Can anyone advise on how to solve this problem. Thanks Jo

I think I may have a problem with my rear shocks on my 2006 ford escape. Whenever I go over a bump I can hear a clunking in the rear back right side. As well, sometimes when I get out of the vehicle, I can hear a swishing noise coming from that area as well. The boots have been checked as well as the sway bars have been replaced.

I have a 1990 full size ford Bronco. The rear right turn signal went out and I replaced in and it still did not work but the rest of the turn signals worked. I then took it to a shop and they looked at it for twenty minutes and could not figure it out. When I got home the rear tail lights brake lights , turn signals (all one multifunctial bulb) would not work and also the back up lights. Also the front blinkers will not work now. I have tried the fuze and that is not the problem. I don't think

I have a 2003 AWD Mountaineer that in the last year has developed a grabbing problem. It seems as though the clutch in the back passenger wheel is not releasing and making the tires grab and making it very difficult to turn to the left or back up without making a terrible squeeling and grabbing noise. The local Ford Garage said it was the rear end so I had it replaced (the pumpkin) that has not helped at all. Any other suggestions, It has approx 178,000 miles on it.

That question didn't make since to me either when I read it. It's even the wrong year for my truck. Here is my problem, I have a 2004 f150 4x4 and the rear (back one) u-joint needs to be replaced. But I don't see any way to remove the old one. The "old" spring clips are not there, only dimples in the metal around to old u-joint holding it in. How, or can, I get is out. Ford calls this driveshaft "unservable" but the parts store sold me a u-joint they say will work???Can you help me?

Clunking noise coming from rear brakes on a 99 Ford Escort, can anyone one help? The car has been in the shop on a weekly basis since May 2009...I am writing on June 20, 2009. All brake components front and back have been replaced. The mechanic is shaking his head and I am banging my head up against the wall...It seems no one can fix this problem. Have 2001 Ford Windstar. Had back hatch open and backing down drive way. Corner of hatch hit edge of the house. The hatch was pushed up & in aprox. 2" so it now hangs at a slight angle and won't close. Can this be corrected without replacing the whole hatch door? The hinge on that side seems to be slightly pulled, but hardly noticable. When I pull down the hatch it comes all the way down, but the right side will not line up to the closure piece. I have a 2004 Ford Explorer, 4x4, xlt and it has been to the Ford Dealer twice because it would die out on me. Okay they said I needed to replace the crankshaft pulley, which we did. I just got my front brakes replaced on my 2000 Toyota Camry. It has less than 80,000 miles on it. The mechanic said that there had been only 1/32nd" left on the front, but the back brakes were fine.
