Driver Heated Seat 03 Suburban

\015 My 2003 suburban has heated seats, when I turn the heated seat on the drivers side on, it\015\012comes on, then I hear a click from under the seat, and it\015\012goes off. It will only stay on maybe 1 second, the passenger\015\012side works fine until you turn driver side heated seat on, then\015\012they both go off. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.\015\012Thank you\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-06-2017

Answers :

The most likely failure point is the driver heated seat elements. They probably have excessive resistance and once they warm up a little they short out the module and it defaults to not working. I would recommend replacing both upper and lower driver seat elements.
