Having problems with your 2003 Chevrolet Impala ?

When I start my car it shakes a little while in park then when I put my foot on the gas pedal it makes this loud noise. The faster I try to go the louder it gets. It sort of like a ticking noise.

Answers :

A ticking sound is supposed to come when the battery is fully charged and does not require charging, so this extra current is bled off in the form of sparks jumping to the body of the vehicle. Thus the faster you try to go, louder will be the ticking sound since now your dynamo is giving more energy now. Check the charging unit of your vehicle............sodeep
Sounds like you have a misfire. May be a tune up only issue. Get it serviced and diagnosed. There most likely a code stored to direct the technician
