I've yet to find a solution to my problem. Everyone telling me the same thing about the location of the radiator cooling fan motor relay. Its not located in either fuse box. Before replying would you please go to the AUTO ZONE web site n look up the part for a 2004 Envoy 4.2L (RADIATOR COOLING FAN MOTOR) so you will know exactly what relay I'm talking about. The fan relay and the other relay are totally different.

I have a 2002 Buick Century. When I am idling, the cooling fan does not kick on when it is supposed to. When I turn the A/C or the defrost on, the fan will come on. Is this a sensor problem? Where is the relay located on this vehicle? Thanks!

Fan relay my fan is not turning to keep my car cool. i ruled out that the fan motor is good now i was trying to change the fan relay (behind the bumper )to see if that will fix the problem but i am not to sure where it is located. can you tell me where it is and how to get to it. also by looking in the fuse box under the hood i was able to locate the fan relay which should be 40 ohms. i will ohms out the fan relay tomorrow to make sure that is good.
