I had the problem its likely not your gas or you Oil that froze up it may be your battery i had the battery frozen just put it in a warmer place like your garage or indoors for for at least a day or two then try it , im not saying this is whats wrong but hey it might help ,diesels are the vehicles with the frozen Oil problems
The best for you to do is stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your car be careful of spraying to much starter fluid in the throttle body it could cause a fire make sure the engine is cold while you spray it and someone else is try starting it wish you the best of luck its cold here in Michigan too.
