A/C won't turn off: 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 2WD Auto, 5.3L: System functions normally (compressor clutch cycles, blower speed, vent position,A/C select LED, etc)except that the A/C clutch continues to cycle even when the A/C select button is turned off (LED not illuminated). The only way I can turn the A/C off is to place the blower speed in the off position. Turn the blower back on and the compressor begins to cycle again.Even cycling the ignition has no effect. Been like this for about 7 days.

Is it possible to change the miles on a 1992 GMC Sierra (1500)? I just switched out the v6 with a new 305 and for personal preference I wouldn't mind setting the miles back to 0. Not selling the truck, I mean I could always write down it's current miles to know how many miles are on the engine but it would be nice to set to 0 since its a new engine.

No if you want one with 0 miles you will have to get a new one ... 1992 GMC Sierra

I have a 2004 gmc envoy and it is blowing out nothing but cold air unless you put it to where it is blowing on you then only 2 vents will blow out hot air, changed the blower motor, thermostat, I even tried working with the controls, still nothing but cold air, was told have to take the dashboad off to open the vent inside.

It sounds as if one or more of the door actuators is not moving the blend doors. Unfortunately, it will require some disassembly of the dash. ... 2004 GMC Envoy

I have a 97 gmc sierra w/ 5.7 vortec...the problem is, it turn over but wont start. had the fuel pump changed less than a year ago. also changed plugs less than a year ago as well. i know its a broad range of what can be the problem, but just wondering if i can get some what of a clue.

Stand near the back of the truck and have a helper turn the ignition to 'ON'. The GM fuel pumps make a very loud, high-pitched whining noise, you will know if the pump is running or not. If not running, check fuses, could be fuel pump relay as well. ... 1997 GMC Sierra

Clicking sound from the dash from behind the blower motor in the vent on 94 GMC Sierra

I see this problem is listed as a 2000 GMC 1500, yet you discribe the problem as on a 1994 GMC. The two trucks are very different, if it's a '94, them there are relays mounted on the passengers side firewall under a plastic shield, these will make cl ... 2000 GMC New Sierra 1500

1998 GMC Sierra. Blower motor works sometimes. No particular circumstances, just when it wants to. Checked all fuses, relays, even replaced the resistor, nothing. Followed the wire harness and found the two pigtails that others have mentioned. Took the wires off, black and purple, and turned ignition on. Getting around 11 volts on all sittings except for the highest setting, it reads 0 volts. The compressor turns on at the console, all the switches on the console work, just not the fan.

Could it be the blower motor it self? sometimes they have a "bad spot" when it is not working, can you hit it and make it run? pretty common on these trucks. the switch is also common. they often melt at the connector on the back making a bad connect ... 1998 GMC Sierra
