Having problems with your 2002 Ford Explorer ?

My engine will not ideal at the same RPM consistantly. It will be high and then low if i do not constantly have my foot on the gas. What do I do?

Answers :

Sounds like a throttle position sensor malfunction'd it's on the intake and has a wire harness on it about the size of a loonie and has 2 screws holding it in place . good place to try those parts are under 80$
