Replaceing the passenger side mirror on 2002 Chrysler minivan

Assuming that you have power mirrors, the fix is as follows:
remove the passenger side cover on the windshield/door pillar by first removing the pull handle. My experience has been that with some reasonable pulling the plastic trim should unhook from the body without too much fuss. You may want to buy a trim stick for working around the edges to get the clips loose without marring the plastic. You will also need the trim stick to pull up the plastic cover on the instrument panel (that part that covers the speakers and overlaps the vinyl that faces the passenger compartment) - but pull the panel cover up just enough to get at the mirror electrical connector (if you pull it all the way up no harm will be done) unhooked. Once that is done, move to the outside and remove the plastic cover from the door/mirror assembly (there is a ribbed section that is split into an upper and lower half and you are going to take the trim stick to the top half) The screws holding the mirror in place will no be exposed and you will remove them.

Put things back in reverse order and you're good to go.
Thanks! I was able to fix the mother-in-law's voyager in 10 minutes after reading your description.
