I had the same problem with a Silverado I had. Turned out to be the fuel pump.

\015\012to test the fuel pump, stand by the gas tank and have someone turn the key on but dont try to start the van. If you hear a humming sound for a second or so then the pump is working. If not, then the pump is bad and the gas tank will have to be removed.

\015\012Let me know if you hear the humming sound and I will offer further solutions to you. I have a pretty good idea you wont hear a humming sound.
Possibly immobiliser, crank sensor or coil fault.
