Having problems with your 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser ?

Overheating overheats then drops back to normal;then overheats again;then back to normal?

\015\012you need a pressure test to make sure there are no leaks.
\015\012than have your radiator flushed.that will fix your problem if there are no leaks.

Pls check the thermostat. It is most likely a sticking or even stucked as that is basically its\015\012purpose, to restrict the coolant flow and allow the engine to reach\015\012operating temperature thereafter grant free flow of the coolant. It\015\012would seem that there is considerable delay in its opening and\015\012therefore the temperature rises above the normal operating temperature.
