Having problems with your 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE ?

Have a misfire on my #1 cylinder what could be the problem can anyone help?

If it's a V6 check the coil towers for rust.. just pop the plug wires off one at a time and check the terminals for corrosion ..It can be cleaned with steel wool .It's harder to clean the contact on the plug wire but it can be done with a little patience. I don't recomend putting any kind of penetrating oil on because the plug wire will want to keep popping off.
