Having problems with your 2001 Hyundai Elantra ?

Dears... i have a problem with centre lock of the right door, sometimes it locks with all doors, and sometimes it doesnt lock, i saw it very clean , so i think its electrical problem.. what can i do.>? thanks

This is a typical fault with locking on any car, it most likely to be a broken wire going through the gland between the post and the door.

\015\012PLEASE NOTE.... NOT NESSESERLEY TO THE OFFENDING DOOR COULD BE EATHER SIDE DEPENDING WHERE THE MASTER IS! !!!

\015\012there will be one ormore broken wires in the gland, take back the gland and expose the wires and look at them carefully dont'd assume they are ok just by looking (MOST TIMES THEY DO APPEAR OK AT A GLANCE!) but ushually the copper conductor has snapped inside leaving the pvc outer looking fine! so give each wirea good tug to see you will find the offending wire will just streach or snap! eather way you found it!thats the hard bit O.K.?
