NO POWER We are unable to figure out this issue. The truck loses power, especially going up any hills it also feels like its shaking and jerking. Sometimes it does it on straight ground, usually after going up a hill. Its burning gas like crazy and no matter how we push the pedal, the truck wont go any faster.

My 2001 Dodge Diesel truck has been losing power at certain times. Generally when I am needing more power than just cruising down the road, such as going up a hill or incline. It will sort of "lock up" and start losing speed and RPMS. Even with the gas pedal pushed to the floor, it will start slowing down and lose RPMS. Then it will suddenly "break loose" and off we go. Sometimes it will do it for a few seconds, and sometimes for 5 minutes.

When going up a good size hill or under strain (lead foot) on flat ground, my 2000 Jetta TDI seems to instantaneously drop power (feels like going into overdrive on an automatic). It then has no power to increase speed, and looses a lot of speed the rest of the way up. [It did not used to do this.] If after the hill, I turn the car off and on again, the power is restored. If I start the hill in cruise control, it won't lose power in this way, and does not lose much speed. If I've not been on a h

They cleaned injectors and reset computer. Ran better for a couple weeks, but in general has been a little noisy (as in combustion/exhaust rumbling no

I own a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel with roughly 100k miles and an automatic transmission. For some reason the vehicle will randomly lose power. Typically the power lose is only for a few seconds but it does not matter how far I press the accellerator. The one thing that seems to be consistant, the power lose mostly happens when going up hills. So I swappped out the the fuel filter and lift pump but that did not fix the problem. No warning lights are on the dash... Don't know what the problem is.
