Having problems with your 2001 Ford Mustang ?

I have a 2001 Mustang 3.8L v6. I'm having so many problems with it since I first bought it last April. There is a loud clicking noise coming from under the hood on the passenger side. My boss checked it out and told me it could be a manifold exhaust leak. But I'm not really sure, because after researching on it, it can be a lot of things./: Also my Check Fuel Pump light and Check Engine Soon light have been on for awhile. I bought a new fuel cap and changed out the oil...and nothing): the lights

Answers :

The noise heard from under the hood could be an exhaust leak or a tap in the valve train. At this point, with everything happening with the engine lights, bucking and fuel problem, it is in your best interest from a finacial point, to have a tech check this vehicle and place it on a diagnostic machine. You could spend many hours and lots of money guessing on repairs, which I see happen all the time. For me to try and guess what's wrong and what needs replacement would not be very professional at this point. I do know the longer this vehicle runs the way it does, the worst it is going to become.
