Having problems with your 2001 Chevrolet Venture ?

I can not get to the screws for the thermostat housing due to a manifold pipe surrounding it. This is for a 200 chevrolet venture 3.4l eng.

Answers :

According to the factory service manual you must unfortunately remove the crossover heat shield as well as the crossover exhaust pipe to access the thermostat housing. What a stupid design. If you think this is hard though wait until you need an alternator...
