Having problems with your 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ?

My truck only blows cold air. there is no heat. Where should I start?

Flush the heating core and then try your radiator cap.
Check the water control valve on heater hose that the valve is working and controle cable is working

\015\012check for antifreeze in the radator

\015\012check water tempature should be around 180f to no more then 220f degrees

\015\012check canistor (black round globe with 2 hoses) should be under the hood in 4 different spots eather front left or right fenders or on inner fender well and last the firewall make sure that the lines are not dry roted or broken if you had service latly they could have knocked it off or winter ice pulled it off

\015\012check to make sure that all vacume lines are not off or broken from intake manifold
