On My 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited the heater motor goes on and off by itself. When you go under glove box and wiggle the resistor box and plug it works for a while and then quits again

Answers :

You will need to replace the resistor module. You also need to check the connector real closely cause they get hot and melt the plastic. If you just replace the resistor you will have the same problem in a few months. So make sure and check it over good.Hope this helps.Good luck.

2004 Dodge Caravan: Middle and back ac/heat works but not the front (at any speed). I went into the fuse box under the hood and I switched around relays and switched fuses. The middle and back continued to work but not the front. I haven't checked the resistor behind the glove box because I read that this is the issue when the front ac/heater only works on high. In my case it doesn't work on any setting. The panel lights up but no action from the front. The air was working then it was switched

The 2 lower speeds for my blower quit working. I read on here that this means the resistor block is burnt out. I replaced the resistor block, but after about 1/2 hour of driving the blower quit again. I looked at the resistors and saw a burn mark. So I got a 2nd set and plugged them in but just left the resistors hanging under the dash. After a couple of minutes the resistors were so hot I could not touch them. Should they be this hot? Does this indicate another problem? If so, what else could b

After towing another car quite a distance with the hazard lights on, the next day the turn signal werent working. i was told to change out the signal switch on the steering wheel so i did but a new one didnt make the signal work. then i checked the fuse and bulbs and those were fine as well. the parking lights and everything on that switch works except for the turn signal itself. so i called auto zone and they told me to look for the turn signal flasher box nside the glove box but could not find

OK, you've been thru the wringer. Unf, i cannot find info on where your flasher is, but there are a couple common places to check. It's usually under the dash on the driver's side. Sometimes it's plugged right into the fuse box. Other times it's ... 2004 Pontiac Grand Am

I have a 2001 Durango. my heater blower just stopped working.. I checked all the fuses. Following the directions in the user's manual, I tried hooking up my new Ipod Nano into the port in the glove box. After displaying a "reading..." message for about 30 seconds, the screen said "error occurred". I updated my Nano, tried it again, and then it worked. Both of my accessory outlets quit working (the outlets that you plug AC adapters into such as car chargers, portable DVD players, etc.). I pulled the fuse out from the fuse box (located on the drivers side of the dash board) and replaced it with several different kinds of the same type of fuse (20a). However, nothing works. Neither of them will work still. I tested the new fuses in the other 2 20a slots and the new fuses work fine. I tested the old fuses that were in the other 2 20a slots i

2001 Jeep Cherokee Classic - I noticed a few months ago that my rear wiper wasn't working, neither was the rear washer fluid pump. A few days later, when the window fogged up, I noticed the rear defroster wires weren't workin either. Then a few days later they worked. Then they quit again, and haven't worked for about 3 months. AC fan only blows on high in my 2004 Ford Expedition. It is a standard manual AC main control unit (without Auxiliary or rear AC which is located in the roof control unit) with fan speeds 1,2,3 & 4. Both AC and Heat work but only blows air on speed No. 4. I do not have Electronic Automatic Temp. I just bought a 2005 Grand Prix. There is a key fob for a remote starter. The sales person told me that it was probably de-activated.
