Having problems with your 2000 Dodge Caravan ?

My rear windows stopped functioning. I do not have power to the heavy black wire at the drivers door switch. I think it is a fuse problem but I don't know where the fuse is. All fuses in the fuse box are good. Douglas Rose

Answers :

Black is most of the time a ground wire.
\015\012most of them are heavy in size as to supply the energy required for ground.
\015\01299.9 percent of the time that problem is in the switch itself.
\015\012see if you can find the wire colors from one of the windows not working both of them are positive wires and the motor is grounded.one wire is for up and the other is for down.
\015\012jump one to a power source that is on in the car.
\015\012you should be able to work the window.if so the switch is bad.

\015\012i hope this helps .
\015\012thank you
