Having problems with your 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ?

I have a feeling that there is something loose in my 2000 silverado 1500 pick up front end. Checked the front end and find nothing loose Replaced the rack & pinion on the drivers side, problem still exists.

Answers :

There is a intermediate shaft between the steering column and rack and pinion that caused problems like this. Some of these were fixed under warrenty by dealers for a clunking sound in steering wheel.
