Having problems with your 1999 Volkswagen Jetta ?

99 VW Jetta

\015 Our lights and wipers were hay wire so we had the relay replaced, now almost a month later the blinkers don't work. The blubs are fine. Any Ideas.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-01-2018

Answers :

The turn signal relay is inside the hazard switch on the dash. Get a new one (about $30) and install that and you're cured:)

How do I fix the entire antenna connection (cables, etc.) on a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta? I have a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta, and when I bought the vehicle (used) it did not have an antenna. I recently purchased one from Auto Zone, thinking the bad radio reception was because the screw-on part of the antenna was missing. Now, with the antenna screwed on, the reception is equally as bad. How do I fix the entire antenna connection (cables, etc.) on a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta? Thank you very much.

The radio could be bad as well. if the tuner in the radio is bad it wont get reception either. go with a good aftermarket one not a cheapy there no good anyway. ... 2001 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

Jetta transmission hello there, my friend's jetta is in my garage at the moment with the transmission entirely disconnected from the engine - the mount and mounting bracket (drivers side near the firewall) have been removed the only issue seems to be that the passenger side output flange (drive flange) is hanging up (getting caught) on the flywheel, I am unsure of what route to take from here. Engine problem. I was driving my 1992 Jetta and the motor just shut off and the engine light came on.When I got it stopped I couldn't start it again. It would turn over.A few days later it started but when the engine was running it sounded like a diesel engine when idleing. It is a gas engine. My buddy is a mechanic but he is puzzeled,he never worked on Jetta engines before and he thinks it could be an oil pump if they have them or is it a major problem? If anyone can help that would be great thanks

Also, on 1992 Jettas they were built with a safety device that automatically shuts off the car if oil levels are too high or too low.\015\012\015\012just insider advice ... 1992 Volkswagen Jetta
