Where is the dip stick to check the transmission fluid?

Underneath the air intake hose, underneath all the wiring, about half way to the fire wall. \015\012 \015\012For the 2.4 DOHC engine there is no dipstick. Thank you GM. You have to do a round of starting the engine running it through the gears, and then take out the plug on the side of the transmission. If it flows out then its overfull. If it does not come out then add more. If it drips then your right on. Thats what it says in the manual. Make sure the car is level when doing this.
There is no dipstick as you known them. There is a little plug you unscrew on the transmission. btw the plug is red
