The serpentine belt has been replaced 4 times this month, this has never happened before what is going on?
With out seeing the belts it will be hard to diagnose. Are the belts oily or tearing up and fraying? A oil leak can cause these belts to wear quickly as can a bur on one gear or worn out case that can shred the edge of the belt. Get a good look at the belts and dissect it.

Problem is quite difficult to describe. When driving the vehicle has a significant "jolt". It's as if I ran into a wall for a 1/4 sec; the RPM drops about 1500 rpm, lights go out, then b/c I'm (usually) moving (I guess), the engine picks up where it left off before the jolt, and all is smooth until the next jolt (which may be in 10 min, 10 hrs, 10 days, or even a few months). 2005 Honda Civic LX, had the timing belt and water pump replaced, about 1 month after the temp started to heat up when idling, never while moving. Found the overflow container full, I replaced the thermostat and the radiator cap. The problem continues, I have noticed that if I keep the rpm under 3000 it will be ok, but if I go over the overflow will start to fill up. Please can someone advise me what to do? Thanks

High Temp My car is running hot, has gone into the RED ZONE and never overheated. Always seems to be when driving for at least 30 minutes, starts to go high, once I hit local traffic stop and go goes really hot. My 96 blazer dies sometimes while at idle it will start back up, but you never know when it will happen. When going at hwy speeds it will lose power, and the lights on the dash come on like it is going to die, but it will power through. This lasts for about 5 sec and then runs normal agian. This seems to happen 3 to 4 times over about a 2 min time frame, but may not happen for months at a time. Time of year and weather conditions don't seem to matter.

I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4. Every 10 months I have to replace the battery. No warning lights come on, nothing just go to try to start it and the battery is dead. Hyundai service center recently replaced my timing belt. within 7 days after picking it up it began to make a noise. two weeks following that after returned to the same shop was told the tension bar was broke and that it was totally unrelated to them working on it the first time.
