Having problems with your 1999 Ford Ranger SuperCab ?

Does a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado have a fuse for the license plate light and if so, which one. Neither light works and there are new bulbs installed

Hi! Please try to clean the bulb socket for it may be corroded causing it to loose contact. See how it goes and let me know. Hope this helps and have a good one!
Look inside the truck underneath the drivers side steering wheel. The fuse box is located there and the plastic cover has a fuse box diagram that will show you what fuse controls what system. Look for the one (stop lamp or running lights) Replace that fuse. Take the light bulb out of the license plate and look at the inner plug and see if it is rusted, corroded, or burned out. Replace the wire if you find it melted and clean the inside out with some electrical cleaner if it is dirty. Use a multimeter and test the wire for continuity.
