Having problems with your 1999 Ford Explorer ?

No heat from heater. Blend door inoperative? Where is it? and can it be replaced? Coolant is flowing through the system, and I have no leaks.

Answers :

Lower the glovebox. There is an actuator on top of the heater case. Turn on the heater and move the temp switch. Look under the actuator, there is an arm that moves the door. See if it moves. If it doesn't the actuator is bad. If it does, check to see if the door is broken.
