How do you remove the dash and radio from a 1999 Chevy Silverado?

It's actually pretty easy. First, remove the panel surrounding the radio, AC, and instrument cluster (one piece) by, starting at a corner, prying off (gently) with your fingertips. Work slowly around the entire panel until it snaps completely off - TIP: you'll have more room to take it off if you shift into D and lower the steering wheel.
\015\012The radio willl be pretty obvious to take out. Should only have to press down on the tabs (2) 1, on each side and slide out. Pull straight out until you feel the wiring harness tug. To disconnect the harness, just push down on the tab and pull apart from the radio. If you're replacing the radio, make sure you get an adapter to match up to your harness (Crutchfield has them free when you purchase a radio from them, or Wal Mart sometimes carries them.
