Answers :

The check engine light is on because there is something wrong with your vehicle, possibly a bad sensor. You will have to have the engine codes read to know what's wrong. Most larger auto parts chain stores will read the codes for free and tell you what's wrong. You can then fix it yourself or take it to a mechanic shop for repairs.
COULD BE EVAP LEAK - CYLINDER MISFIRE OR PCM FAULT ITSELF. HIGH OR LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE LIKE I SEEN CAR ALTERNATOR GO BAD ONLY PUT OUT 11.5 VOLTS OR 16 VOLTS THAT WILL CAUSE PCM PROBLEM.TAKE VECHICLE TO AUTO ZONE OR ADVANCE AUTO PARTS OR ANY AUTO PARTS STORES IN YOUR TOWN OR CITY THEY WILL SCAN VECHICLE FREE TELL YOU YOUR TROUBLE CODE.
