I am working on a 1995 Ford F250, 351, manual locking hubs. I started by replacing the wheel bearings, then decided to replace the axle bearing, then found out the ball joints are bad too. Now I got everything dismantled, ordered all the parts I need, and I have a HUGE problem. The lower ball joints- I cannot find a set that are big enough to fit this steering knuckle. I've tried every size from Moog, and even gave ford the vin# to try and get the correct ones, which failed. Every one I get fall

2001 Buick Regal wheel bearing removal problem. Got the 4 hub bolts removed but the hub won't budge. Does the parking brake piston also need to be removed or do I just hit the hub harder? Any directions on removing the parking brake mechanism?

See if your local AutoZone has a hub puller that you can rent/borrow. Yes, if they dont have one, you will need to hit it from the inside to the outside. They like to corrode in the axle housing and sometimes are a real pain in coming out. Note; when ... 2001 Buick Regal

The passenger side rear wheel on my daughters '04 Focus has developed a whir. A sharp turn to the left unloads the right wheel and the whirring stops. Rotated the tires to eliminate a wheel and/or tire issue. A manual rotation of the wheel feels like an incremental stutter, which is different from the drivers side. I am assuming a wheel bearing. I can turn a wrench and have tools. My question is, does the replacement of the rear wheel bearing require special tools? Any assistance is greatly ap

I just replaced the wheel bearings on my 2001 dodge durango. This is the first vehicle I've done of which you have to buy the whole hub/wheel bearing assembly (vs just buying wheel bearings and pressing them into the hub). The question is regarding greasing the bearings since the new hub assembly is sealed up. Do I just grease the outside and on the spindle or do I need to remove the u-ring and grease the inside also?

I'm hearing a noise in my 2002 Buick Regal GS with Gran Touring suspension. The noise sounds like a "wub-wub-wub," and the only time I've heard anything similar was when a hub bearing had gone bad in my driver's side. The sound is loudest between 30 and 45 mph, and is louder during a left turn, while it almost disappears on a right turn. I can also feel some vibration coming through the steering wheel, matching the "wub-wub-wub" sound. I replaced the front right wheel hub bearing, but this didn'
