We had very cold conditions in our area (-35) for about a week. I could barely get the car started one day. the next day the car wouldn't start at all. All the interior lights and bussers worked and the battery was fully charged. There was no sound coming from under the hood when i turned on the ignition. The starter is only a year old and was functioning just fine, i'm hoping it just a fuse but which one i don't know. Could it be the starter again? if it is a fuse which one inside or under the

1995 Lincoln Continental - 4.6 li engine. Car was running fine. Then charging system error began and car eventually drained the battery and left me on the side of the road. I replaced the alternator AND a blow alternator/ generator fuse (10) under the hood. Following replacement , car started right up and ran - but was running off battery and not alternator. Put battery on charger overnight. Today, I go out to start the car - and it will not start at all.. with battery fully charged. Turns over

It is a 1997 Chevy Blazer. I looked under the hood their is no fuse box for a starter relay fuse. I am trying to figure out where it is located. The starter works but the car won't start. We replaced the battery and it still doesn't work. We can jump start the car and it will start so we are thinking it is the starter relay fuse. Just wondering where the starter relay fuse is because I am not sure at all.

IF THE MOTOR WILL START WHEN YOU JUMP START, THE BATTERY IN THE BLAZER MUST BE LOW. USE A D.C. VOLTMETER, THE VOLTAGE AT THE BATTERY WITHOUT JUMPER CABLES, SHOULD NOT DROP BELOW 9 VOLTS WHEN THE STARTER IS TURNING. THERE IS A CRANK FUSE IN THE INTERI ... 1997 Chevrolet Blazer

Car would not start, cleaned all the battery connections and started the car, now headlights do not work, parking lights do, i have power to bulbs on the middle wire, no power to the outside wires on either side even when i click the brights on, the fuses under the hood are good and the fuse on the positive battery cable is good, any ideas?

Most cars have a Headlight relay and within the relay different terminals will split the power to parking lights, headlights, etc. It is possible that part of the relay burned out while the balance still works. You may have a fusible link (wire) to ... 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport 4WD

When I went to start my car today the car gave me a single click and would not start. I replaced fuse 8 which is the fuel/starter fuse because I have this problem in the past and that usually fixes the problem. When I replaced the fuse it still did not turn on instead it blew the fuse. It blew through 3 fuses each time I replaced it. I used a 20 amp fuse which was the size previous;y in it's place. 2006 nissan altima battery shows 12.73 volts on the multimeter but every thing electronic in the car seems like it has a weak battery. When I turn the key to start the car I get nothing at all and the volts drop to 6.5. When i take out the ignition fuse under the hood everything in the car electronically works great but i just cant start. any ideas? Im thinking the starter is gone and its drawing to many amps and thats why it makes every thing in car goes funny.

The proper voltage acceptable is 12.4 volts (across the battery) this test does not test the seperate cells.due to the excessive drop in voltage I think your battery has a bad cell in it.A good battery might drop to 11.8 but 6.5 your battery is no go ... Nissan Altima

Headlights, parking lights, and dome light start flickering after being on for a while. Sometimes the headlights and parking lights go out. This started after an aftermarket stereo where stolen from the car. The wiring harness was unplugged not cut in the robbery. The grounds from the battery to the car body look good. I don't think there is a bare wire on the positive side of the affected circuits because fuses are not blowing. I was wondering if there is a circuit breaker instead of a fu

My battery has been checked and is fine, but the battery will go dead within approximately 48 hours if the car is not started and run. I checked all of the draw from the battery on each fuse and the #9 and C fuses are drawing about 8 volts each.
