Having problems with your 1998 Honda Prelude ?

98 Prelude lost engine power

\015 I was driving down the highway when the car lost all engine power. when i got the side of the road the car was still running untill i came to a complete stop then it died. i have fuel in it. and now when i go to try and start it. the engine turns but does not go all the way. it also puttered acouple times actin like it was going to start.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-06-2017

Timing belt broke. does it have a distributor? Take cap off and note position of rotor if it has one, bump starter and note if distributor rotor moved, if not you need a timing belt. also you can look under the oil cap to see valves and have someone start it, you should see the rockers move, if not, belt.
