Having problems with your 1998 Honda Civic ?

My brake lights are stuck on in my 1998 2door 5speed Honda Civic. What could cause this?

\015 They are on when the vehicle is on or off. It's both tail lights and the center rear light. I just got the car in March of 2012, it has 211,000 miles on it, it has an ABS light on the dash that comes on periodically, the interior light doesn't turn on when the doors are open, and the light on the dash that lights up any of the air/heat area sometimes needs a "tap" to come on.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 11-12-2017

Answers :

Hope you didn't pay much for this car. Electrical problems in a car can be just about anything and "anywhere." For now, to pass inspection, you must have the tail lights to work right, so check on a brake switch replacement. It is above the pedal at the top of the arm.
