Answers :

Check the heater core hoses with the engine running at operating temp, If there not 200 degrees each then you need a new water pump and thermostat and system flush. if there hot then you need a new blend door actuator located on the HVAC box behind the dash on the passenger side.

I have a 1998 Ford Taurus and the Heater don't work it Blows cold air, if you are driving it for a little bit or let it idle for a little bit with the heater off, you will get a few seconds of hot air then it goes to cold air. What would be the best thing to check first cause i have read some other peoples questions and answers and every one says something different. I don't have a lot of money and can't afford to put every single thing in it to find out, would prefer to get it right the first

It could be air locked. Feel both your heater hoses, and, with the engine running, loosen the one that's cold, if there is one. If that doesn't help, it is probably your heat control valve that is malfunctioning. ... 1999 Ford Taurus

Hi the heater on my Ford KA is only blowing out cold air even when turned to hot on the control knob. I recently had problems with it blowing out only hot air all the time and had a new solanoid fitted but now just blows cold. I was lead to believe it needs a new heater control panel? does this sound about right? i am at my tether with this as there are so many possibilities. Can anyone help?

Sounds like whoever did the repair work did not install the solenoid correctly or did not reassemble everything properly. If you had heat prior to the repair, the heater control panel must have been working. The mechanic must make a better diagnosis ... 2001 Ford Focus
