Transmission range sensor code keeps comming up?

\015 Could the wrong size tires cause this problem? Or is it located in the steering column, or is it the nuteral safty switch? Transmission range sensor code keeps comming up P0705after I replaced it.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 27-03-2017

Answers :

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and then see if the code goes away. The info I have says the problem could be the part you replaced or the connector. You may have to test the wires to see if they are broken.

\015\012The tires would not cause this problem. But call the dealer with your Vin# about yet another cruise control recall. There are various electrical faults and false readings for all kind of sensors due to defective cruise wiring.
