Having problems with your 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 2WD ?

Tranny disengaged on incline and sharp turn I let up on the gas

\015 On incline and sharp turn I let up on the gas so as not to slide ,then stepped on the gas to continue up the hill, when the tranny just disengaged or something. could not engage it into gear. towed it to level ground and changed oil and filter. Oil leak noted when put in gear, possibly front seal. could this be the cause for it not to move at all?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 20-11-2017

Answers :

It almost sounds like it was low on fluid, the leak you are describing could it be coming from the transmission cooler line where attaches to transmission.
You could have busted the pump without the pump your vehicle will not move have you checked to see if the converter is still bolted to flywheel ive seen some converter bolts sheer off due to excessive abuse
