Whats the best way to break loose an O2 sensor stuck on a 1997 pontiac firebird right off the block on the passenger side?

Purchase or tryo to borrow a O2 sensor socket, and use a breaker bar. you can try penetrating oil but I doubt if that will help. when you install a new one use antiseize but make sure you only get it on the threads and use sparingly because you dont want any to get on the sensor itself.
Heat it up! Use a hand held propane or map gas torch. Make sure there is nothing to close to the sensor that can burn and heat the sensor where it is mounted at the exhaust manifold. Make sure your useing the right socket for removing the sensor and always keep a fire extinguisher right next to you when working with an open flame. Good luck.

I have a 1992 mazda 323. I was told that the engine froze and now it is leaking coolant. It is not coming from a hose or the water pump. I think it is from the bottom of the block or a cover on the passenger side just under the fan pulleys. My question is whether there is a place in the block right there where coolant circulates? Is it likely that the block cracked or is there another way that coolant could be leaking. I am guessing that maybe it overheated and cracked instead of freezing. Any a

When running the A/C on my Buick Lesabre, cold air only comes out of the passenger side of the dash vents. Warm air comes out of the drivers side. The car does NOT have the dual control climate system. It seems something may be blocked under the dash, keeping the cold air to the right side of the car. Any ideas?

The most common cause in these cars is low refrigerant charge (R134A refrigerant). The safest and proper way is to have the system leak tested and the AC pressures tested with gauges. That said many people buy the precharged cans of refrigerant that ... 2001 Buick LeSabre

I have a 1998 Pontiac Firebird, and the drivers side window stopped rolling up and down, I could take the panel off, mess around with the cables, and it would work for a few days. Now when you push the button, nothing happens. And now, the passengers side doesn't roll down either. Could this be a coincidence that they both stopped working, and maybe the cause is something other than the motors being bad?

I have a 1999 blazer. It was making a roaring noise in the front end. Took it to a garage. They replaced the passenger side wheel bearings. This cost around $400.00 for parts and Labor. When I picked the car up from the garage the ABS light was now on. I drove around the block and came right back to the garage. He hooked it up to a device and said that now the speed senser in the driver's side wheel bearing was bad and that now has to be replaced at the cost of another $400.00. Is there a reason

Heater on 2000 Dodge Durango does not get very warm. I can turn the control knob to cold and air gets cold, I turn the control to hot and only gets slightly warm. Changed thermostat,no help. Flushed out heater core from both directions, got good flow each way. The heater hose on the drivers side, the one that comes from the water pump is cold. The one on the passenger side that goes into the block near the thermostat gets warm.

I have small leak/weap on the brake divider block (mounted on passenger side chassis about mid vehicle) that divides flow to the back brakes.
