The air conditioning suddenly stopped blowing cold. It just blows room temperature air. It was working fine and then all of a sudden a few days ago it stopped. I have tried to put the A/C on auto climate control and also regular A/C with top vents on. The rear A/C also only blows room temp air. I looked at the compressor and it appears to be engaging and staying engaged. What troubleshooting steps can I take to determine the root cause? Thanks.

You should check if there is gas on the air system, if you say the compressor its engaged all time perhaps you have a gas leak or too much low pressure on the gas system, its recomended that this work is done by a pro, as it involves hazardous gases ... Ford Expedition

I have a 2007 Tahoe and the driver's side air is blowing ambient air and the passenger's side is blowing normal air conditioned air. It seems the driver's side of the dual climate control has stopped reponding. The air conditioning is working but only on the passenger side.

Have the freon level checked to see if it is a little low, this will happen if the system needs freon, also,if it is not the freon being low, then you are looking at a actuator motor that operates that side, and it will most likely be deffective, and the ... 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe

The rear air in my 2002 Chevy Tahoe quit working. It does not blow air not matter if you switch the front control module to rear or where the rear control module settings are positioned. I've checked the fuses and they all appear to be in proper working order. I had the AC compressor for both the front and rear replaced in 2007 and it worked fine. The front AC/Heating equipment operates properly without any problems.

Have a 2000 mustang coup v6 ... my cruise control is not working, abs and traction control not working and when i accelerate and have the air conditioner (or even just vent air) running it seems like something closed and all the air comes up through the defroster vents...when i stop accelerating it goes back to blowing out the normal vents. Could all this be related to a vacumn problem? Any suggestions? thanks

You answered your own question. It definitely sounds like a vacuum problem. Now the question is, how to find it! It sounds like the problem is under the hood, and may also be related to the ABS fuse... check the fuses under the hood first... then ... Ford Mustang

Ac problems My ac compressor has freon an comes on somtimes, but now it blows no cold air and the climate control box in the dash does not always make the ac clutch come on or the blower fan inside the car blow. I have to turn the fan on manually ( Auto does not work) then push the buttons up and down a few times to get the blower fan to work. Does anybody think they can help me to get my ac working again, and could it be a faulty climate control box? I really don't have the money to waste a

Climate control always blows extremely hot air no matter what setting is on digital control. When this first started in the summer, the air conditioning would work great then it would change to hot heat. Now, it blows hot heat all the time. The air conditioning compressor will not engage and the vent only blows out hot air, no cold air. the air conditioning was working when i parked the car and then when i came back and started the car and turned the air on. it only blew out hot air.

My cruise control and air control has gone out all within the same amount of time on my 2004 Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo. The air will only blow out of the top vent on the windshild, which I guess is the best place to be stuck. Also it seems the air conditioning remains on even though the button has been turned off. Cruise control will not work at all.

Hi! regarding the ac problem, its gotta be a faulty control switch. You will need to have it replaced to have an equal blow of air. The cruise control can be cause by a vacuum leak. Try checking worn or torn hoses and replace it, usually 1/4 size. Ho ... 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500. The air conditioner blows just warm air. The system was working when engine was shut off but did not work properly upon restart today. The AC/Max A/C switch seems to work but the temp control setting seems to make no difference. The tube from the compressor is ice cold with water dripping out the drain tube. System evaporator recently replaced and recharged 2 weeks ago - has been working great until today. Any suggestions or is this a trip to the dealer?
